hello

Time is life, and life is short, so these pages will no longer be updated weekly. But we have renewed the domain name and have plans ahead...

The only up-to-date(ish) bits of the site are the Our Tunes section, which includes DJ charts and recent purchases, and the Gigs archive, which just keeps on growing, man. We've just added the remainder of 2007 gigs, and 2008 will be along soon too.

There's also an archive of the top singles and albums from 2001 to 2006, plus a bit for 2007 ie: before all the cool kids started blogs.

Thanks for stopping by, be naughty ;)

regular music events worth checking...

Free music every Saturday afternoon can be found at the ROTA sessions @ Notting Hill Arts Club, 4-8pm, free entry, loads of different bands. Spot the lady who is there every week and likes to smile and sway. We love her!

Durrr at the End every Monday has live bands or guest DJs most weeks; future stars on a tiny wee stage late at night among beautiful people. 10pm-3am, £6.

The ace weekly Artrocker night (FREE to members) has a knack of putting on the best r&r bands around. It's on Tuesdays, 8.30pm-1am at The Buffalo Bar (Highbury Corner) and is £5 for non-members.

For garage-rock kicks visit Tufnel Park's Boston Arms, every Friday (except the first Fri of the month) where the Dirty Water Club put on 3 of the best new/touring bands around, as well as a monthly residency from the legendary Billy Childish. It's 8.30pm-2am, £6 on the door and the DJ plays soul, indie and rock through to 2am.
